Hey, I'm Greg Dean!

I'm a cybersecurity professional with experience across a few different sectors. My focus is SOC analysis, web app penetration testing, and IT infrastructure. I'm comfortable with the usual red and blue team tooling, and I've built networks and then secured them.
I approach every problem with curiosity. I want to understand the underlying system before I try to defend it.

I imaged and configured 50+ endpoints and kept the wireless and office systems working.

Skills

I went from supporting users and endpoints, to attacking and defending the same systems in a lab, to mapping those paths with MITRE ATT&CK. The notes are the part I reuse. Right now I am sharpening SOC analysis, detection engineering, and remediation writing someone else can follow.
